Ckone - Silver

Tuesday, May 13, 2008

So there was some good news and some bad news..

ckone didn't get a Gold at the Sony Radio Awards that went to Key 103, but received a silver in the competition category , now that's not bad going, ok it was mainly for the airtime / s&p element, but still considering the route of entry (this is a comp after all) existed mainly online for both station groups Kiss and Galaxy it's a nice little validation of the work we can produce at Global Radio Interactive.

askGod(Beta) + A little update.

So I'm not even religious but I wanted to experiment with Twitter and auto generated clever content, at present the project which I've called askGod is very much in the pre-creation, I'm trying (maybe in vain) to build up a little bit of a twitter following.

Concept: A little creative piece which, pulls off replies / questions sent via twitter and displays them in some kind of animated visually pleasing digital environment (flash), askGod aims to offer a visitor the ability to travel on a journey of digital conversation.

Here is the current stream from askGod via twitter

PS. I've noticed Twitter becoming more and more popular and with this trend it's seem to be encountering problems, or is purely the amount of apps that now feed into the system.

Update on my Live V mp3 project : Things are going quite well should have a prototype up by the end of the month, fingers crossed.

    Big Eye

Emma introduced me to the musical coolness that is the Kleptones, mash up central, it's like 2 Many DJ's for the indie retro scene..

I advise everyone to at least listen into about 4 minutes of the bestival set which can be found in the downloads section of the website

Kudos to the creative on this site, for the inspiring commercial imagery this was my personal fav.

Check out some video candy from the Kleptones, a whole set compressed into 5 minutes.

Check out their blog for more ear pleasing stuff here
