A man arrives home with a delicious bag of Doritos, plonking them on the table he leaves to tend to something else. Whilst away a tribe of Doritos escape from the packet to perform a quick sacrifice to the God of Salsa. the man returns interupting the ceremony, opening the pot of salsa he is confused to find a dorito already inside. Deciding his love for doritos outwieghs his suspicion the man devours the doritos. The Salsa God is appeased.

Today I finally took some action against, what I would describe as the worst flash gif mpu / banner / sky ads that i've ever had the misfortune of witnessing.

They are all over the sites that I use day in day out sites such as Media Week, Digital Spy and Media Guardian.

Here is the for- mentioned mpu ad to show you the "loveliness" of these display ads. (And No I'm not making ££ from them)

Ok so now you've seen the evidence you will either agree or disagree with me but I decided to inform those who run the site of their rather ugly display advertising.. I don't normally do such a thing but today was different they had annoyed me for the last time, especially as their website is very user friendly.

So I penned this email to some of the top bods in Haymarket ( The owner of the Revolution Jobs website ) just hope it didn't make me sound too much of a arrogant prat.

Hi there, just to say loving the site really easy to use etc.

Just a comment at present and you might not care much about it, but your flash display units, look rather amateurish and sluggish, not what I would expect from a digital recruitment agency / service.

If your going to use flash / rich (I didn't realise they where gifs at this point , but still no excuse) media then please use some creativity after all your advertising digital jobs and there's plenty of talented flash designers out there who could do a slicker job, some of them most likely on your books.

I never normally point out these things but these ads have been annoying me for a while.. guess their eye catching for all the wrong reasons.
