Well here is it.. the new ad is on it's way.. and no it hasn't got anything to do with Phil Colins and a large mamal.
I've heard about this one via the london grape vine a while ago, although I can't reveal my sources, It's gonna be another Fallon production (Sony Balls etc etc) and the team have done themselves proud.
I'm not sure it's going to get the same kind of virval penetration as the first one, you can't really relate to much to a bunch of airport trucks racing around to some
ok so Queen don't stop me now isn't that bland.. but still, nice timing (good or bad depending on your view point) what with the troubles at Heathrows T5.
bland musical track
I for one will be watching this with a skeptical eye, this one just might be a one glass full production, it airs this Saturday (26th).
For thoose who are interested here's the spin direct from mad.co.uk
Cadbury has revealed imagery of its sequel to the Dairy Milk ‘Gorilla’ advertisement.
The ad, created by Fallon, is called ‘Airport Trucks’ and tells the story of a magical airport truck race. It will break on the 29 March.(this saturday)
Tony Bilsborough, director of corporate communications at Cadbury, said: “Like ‘Gorilla’ and Cadbury Dairy Milk itself, it’s designed to put a smile on viewers’ faces. All the trucks have ‘pimped’ themselves to show their unique character, ready for the race of their lives.

While I'm on ads, my current fav is the VW polo ad (attached below), the song is catchy and the dog inspiring, found myself singing this song in the shower much to my own embrasment I can't sing for shit.
Here's the low down from a poster on marks website a nice little blog about all things ad based
DDB London has created a story of a small and nervous dog who feels so confident when he rides in the VW Polo that he sings his little heart out. Says Dylan Harrison: “The idea came from that feeling you get when you’re in the shower. You’re relaxed, you don’t have a care in the world and, regardless of your ability, you can feel free to belt out any song that comes to mind. This is how it feels to drive around in the safety of the Polo.” Adds Feargal Ballance: “After the idea, the next challenge was finding the right track. When we eventually stumbled across ‘I’m a man’ by the Spencer Davis Group which we liked it instantly. Firstly it’s a bloke’s song - it’s manly, proud and coming from the mouth of a dog could be very funny. Next we needed someone to sing our song. We found a wonderful singer in Charlie Winston who has a fantastic voice, characterful and actually sounded like it was coming from our dog.
“The talented Mr. Noam Murro brought the entire thing to life. And even though we were working with animals Biscuit made it feel like the easiest shoot in the world. It was shot in San Pedro, Los Angeles over a relaxing 3 days.”
